About me​
​

My name is Esa Yli-Suutala and I was born in 1964 in Kemi, in northern Finland. At this moment I am working towards my qualification as an engineer of biotechnology and circular economy. I am also a qualified car mechanic and process technician. We are currently living in Pietarsaari, Finland, together with my wife. We also move around Finland with my different work assignments.

 

Career​

 

I have had an extensive career in different industrial fields, mainly in the oil and paper industries. During my career I have had various tasks. From the early 1990s I have focused more on work planning and management. My broad knowledge and experience in different supervision, assembly, maintenance and installaition works, make me an ideal project manager. I am used of leading both small and big projects to a successful conclusion.

Control of the mechanical work of the oil refinery at a standstill in TA2020. 1.1-30.6.2020.

During 2004-18 I have been working at Caverion Suomi Oy, Pietarsaari department, as maintenance manager. Our largest customers have been

During 1991-98 I was employed by NesteOil Oy, and worked three years as maintenance manager for mechanical works. Thereafter I had work planning duties within mechanical works for about six years.  

 

1998-2004 I worked for both Fortum Oil and Gas/Neste Engineering as a project planner. My duties included project planning, cost calculation and project management.

  • OSH (Centre for Occupational Safety) certificate of LPG Operator Qualification 10.12.1993

  • OSH certificate on the qualification of the natural gas user 14.12.1993

  • KVV supervisor B-lever certificate, Head of construction of Water and Sewer Equipment for the property, valid 28.10.2020 (FISE)
